Honoring Maryanne Trump Barry: Beloved Sister of Donald J. Trump Passes Away at 86

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Maryanne Trump Barry at the age of 86.

Maryanne, the elder sister of former President Donald J. Trump, had a distinguished career marked by her significant contributions to the judiciary. She was found deceased in her New York City apartment on November 13th, with first responders arriving too late to save her.

Maryanne’s career was notable for her service as a senior judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Appointed to the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey by President Ronald Reagan in 1983, she was later elevated to the Court of Appeals by President Bill Clinton in 1999. Her commitment to justice was evident throughout her career.

In recent years, Maryanne faced scrutiny over alleged financial irregularities involving her family, which led to her retirement in 2019.

Though she had her differences with her brother Donald, her passing is a significant loss for her family. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Trump family as they grieve the loss of a remarkable woman and devoted public servant.
