San Francisco Extends Support to Trump’s Fundraising Efforts

Ex-President Donald Trump is gaining unexpected support from various regions across the country.

Recently, this rising popularity was evident as Trump raised nearly $12 million at a charity event in San Francisco, the hometown of former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, according to the Daily Wire.

The fundraiser took place at the Pacific Heights home of venture capitalists David Sacks and Chamath Palihapitiya. Known for their popular podcast “All-In,” Sacks and Palihapitiya attracted a range of attendees, with contributions varying from $50,000 to $500,000. The event saw participation from notable cryptocurrency investors and venture capitalists.

Harmeet Dhillon, a Republican National Committee member, observed that Trump appeared “relaxed, cheerful, and made jokes about AI” during the event.

Sacks revealed that the idea for the fundraiser came after JD Vance suggested hosting an event for Trump. He expressed gratitude for Vance’s initiative and support in organizing the gathering.

In a detailed post on X, Sacks outlined his reasons for supporting Trump:

“As highlighted by various media, I am hosting a fundraiser for President Donald J. Trump at my San Francisco home tonight. Over the years, I’ve organized events for presidential candidates Ron DeSantis, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., as well as numerous congressional figures from both parties. While I support many candidates, I am officially endorsing only a few.

Currently, I am supporting our 45th president, Donald J. Trump, for the 47th presidency. My support is based on four critical issues that I believe are essential to American prosperity, security, and strength—areas where the Biden administration has faced significant challenges and where I believe President Trump can steer us in the right direction.”
